What is Designspin?
Designspin is an online database compiled with hundreds of merchandise designs for your band or company. Simply find a design that you like, go through the checkout process, and within minutes the design will be sent to you! You may select to have your design altered to fit your organizations name or you can download the font file, psd, tiff, and jpg and edit the graphic yourself. Concluding your purchase you may choose to continue on to get your shirts printed with Merchspin, our affiliated company, or choose to get them printed at the printing manufacturer of your choice.
What is the difference between downloading and purchasing a design?
Downloading: If you choose to download that design you choose will not be taken off of the site. This means that other bands who like this design will still be able to download or purchase this graphic.
Purchasing: Purchasing a design will automatically remove the design from the web site so that no other band may purchase or download that graphic in the future.
NOTE: The majority of orders through designspin.com are for purchases as opposed to downloads. About 94% of all the designs on this site that are ordered are purchase.
Will other bands have my design?
It is rare that any other band will have the same design that you have purchaed, but there is always a chance that a band has downloaded that design prior to you purchasing it.
How does my company name get on the actual design?
Once you have selected your design you will have the option to select a checkbox that offers "design assistance" for an extra fee. Further on in the process you will be asked what changes you would like made to your design. This is where you would insert your organizations name as well as any other cosmetic changes that you would like to have done. Cosmetic changes include but are not limited to color variations, name alterations, and readjusting placement of the design position.
How long does it take if I request additional design assistance with my design?
It takes three business days to receive your artwork alterations. We are closed on the weekends.
What is the archives section?
The archives section means that the design has been purchased and taken off of the site for further sales.
How often does Designspin post new designs to the site?
We post new designs approximately once a month.
What if I want a design I ordered on something besides a t-shirt?
Any design downloaded will be able to be printed on any piece of merchandise. We simply use the t-shirts to showcase the graphics.
